if you do then what do you think he would need to enter to the UFC (even though i don't think that'll ever happen) what style would he need to complement his wrestling (real wrestling, in case you don't know he won a gold medal in olimpic wrestling) and how would he do and use his wrestling as an advantage.

I am going to back up Angle here because I know what he does and what he has achieved!! The reason why I say that at the start is because people say things like "Kurt will die" or "Kurt will get his a*s kicked!". To those narrow minded people --- you know nothing!!

Kurt Angle is a wrestler, and a damn good one to put it nicely.

Wrestling, the art itself is considered VERY important to the world of MMA. Afterall, there are many variation of wrestling like Greco, Freestyle, and of course Submission styles like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Catch-as-catch-can.

If you look at the current hall of famers today, you will find: -

Royce Gracie -- BJJ
Ken Shamrock -- Submission Fighting
Dan Severn -- Greco - Freestlye
Randy Couture -- Greco - Frestyle

All of the above have high backrounds to the wrestling/grappling game. When you look at it this way, Kurt Angle will do well because he is also a wrestler, and an Olympic Gold Medalist.

However, Wrestling on its own wont be enough, especailly against very well-rounded fighters. We shouldnt underestimate Kurt Angle because he will train and he will TRAIN HARD!! He will take onboard submission strategies. He will take onboard striking tactics, and he will mix it in nicely to his agressive wrestling ability (Ground n' Pound and Submssions).

I believe he went to Russia once during his amateur days, so there could be speculations of him learning some legit Sombo techniques which may have been new or somewhat different to him at the time?

At the end of the day, Kurt has talked about the issue of entering MMA. However, he isnt getting any younger and his body's agility will decrease. Dont get me wrong, as even today I believe he could 'toy' with many, younger talents out there.

He seems rather happy with TNA, and I cannot see him leaving there for another few years. To finish this answer, I beleive Kurt Angle would do very well in MMA, and the crowed will enjoy his presence regardless!! However, I feel he has left it a little late, but with Kurt Angle, you'll never know!!

All the best!!!

Obviously alot of professional wrestling is pre-determined, from the storylines, all the way to some of the bigger moves during the matches. Professional full contact fighting can also sometimes be pre-determined, however, it is much less than professional wrestling. The potential for serious injury is wide open inside the realm of professional wrestling probably more than inside of the UFC. As devestating as some of the knockouts and bonebreaking stuff you see in the UFC, there are still weight-classes, and the rules of the fights are modeled to prevent the fighter from taking too much damage. Obviously the shots are full contact, but the fights are stopped pretty fast if a fighter is taking too many unprotected shots. UFC is a safe way to fight full-contact. Pro-wrestling is not full-contact all the time, however, there arent really weight classes in pro-wrestling, and the athletes take shots more consistently, from much larger athletes than themselves. Wrestling and UFC are both equally very dangerous, but I think wrestling beats your body up alot faster and alot worse. The bottom line is that Kurt Angle has already been battered too much and it would be pretty unwise for him to just jump into the UFC at an age where most fighters are past their professional fighting prime. Im almost certain he's over the age of 40, and he definetly shouldnt be making such a dramatic transition at a late age. Keep in mind that the transition isnt necessary since you can make alot more money in pro-wrestling than in the UFC. Boxing is different, but alot of the UFC guys dont get paid all that great for what they put into it. The answer to your question is pretty simple, but I figured I'd make you think about your question some. If Angle is dumb enough to try Tim Silvia or Chuck Liddel in the UFC, he would probably want to use a ground game as his base style while adding jiu-jitsu skills of course. And he would obviously have to work on his stand up skill as well.

Kurt Angle has a great amateur wrestling background, even greater than what is portrayed in his character. He has done much more than just win an Olympic gold medal.

Probably all he would need to do is to work on his striking and kicking. However, he would have to be very careful, considering that he also has a history of neck injuries.

Angle is a very accomplished olympic wrestler. If he wanted to compete in the UFC he'd need to spend a year or so in intense training learning the submission game, striking and the clinch.

He has the tools, but I doubt he has the desire.

He'd need to learn a striking style. Also submission holds, because in amateur wrestling they win by pinning. I think he'd have too much to learn to make the transition unless he has a MA background I don't know about.

Definitely boxing and Muay Thai.

It would also be wise to at least learn how to try to avoid submissions.

I know who he is and Dana was actually going to sign him, but Kurt decided to go to TNA.
