Is anybody taking these two drugs together and if so what is your experience with them?
When do you see results?
My bf has been taking the two pills for about two weeks now for bipolar disorder and he feels horrible. He gets so tired that he can't even walk straight; sometimes he even gets speech impairment. Are these common side effects?
He has a very short temper but now it seems as if he is moodier than ever!

All medications usually need some time in the system to have a positive effect. Check for side effects to watch out for. It is my personal experience that the person needs to be in a structured or less hostile environment. Trying to control them can be counterproductive. I had to separate myself from annoying family and friends who believed by keeping me busy doing things for "THEM" that they were in control since I apparently wasn't. Diet can make a difference also. I think it's important to eat right and drink enough water on these meds and in this condition.

Remeron is a ***** for making you tired, and Seroquel is also a heavy duty sedative. I'm surprised he can function on those two. They're also a bit of an odd combo for bipolar - Remeron is an antidepressant, and Seroquel is usually for acute bipolar mania.

it is probably the seroquil. That med is used to help people who have problems sleeping.
