This just happened to my 13 month old. I called her doctor and he just told me to watch her closely. The first 6 hours are the most crucial...if something is seriously wrong, it will become noticeable within those 6 hours. He told me she could sleep but she needed to be woken up every two hours to be sure she could be roused. Watch for fevers, discolored or red eyes or lack of response. If you are uncertain, don't hesitate to take her to the ER...better to be safe than sorry!!!

this is so incorrect. I advise hitting the top repetitively is amazingly humiliating and bodily unfavorable. that's punishable by way of regulation. Plus the subject led to by way of the new child isn't that huge (whether that's huge, the new child would not have any thought approximately it, and hitting the top remains pointless). I say if this occurs returned, take a video of it :D or ask the new child approximately it. Then ***** to the government inclusive of the new child.

The lump on her head doesn't matter, but her behavior does. If you think she is acting differently, I would take her to the ER. The chances of something serious going on are small, but not zero.
However, if she is behaving normally, just wake her up every 1 hr. for the next 8 hrs. to make sure she's OK.

Chances are she's just fine, but if you're that worried, take her to the doctor tomorrow. If you're going to be freaked out all night, take her to the ER. I tend to be pretty laid back about these things, but you know your child and if she's acting differently, it's better to err on the side of caution.

She should be okay, my hubby tripped holding our little one and she hit her head on the corner of the wall. She had a nasty bump, but she was okay.
You can take her to the ER if it will make you feel better though, there is nothing wrong with wanting to make sure!

HI,
DO NOT LET HER GO TO SLEEP FOR AN HOUR AFTER ANY TYPE OF HEAD INJURY. YOU MAY WANT TO PUT SOME ICE ON THE BUMP. YOU CAN ALSO USE SOME FROZEN VEGETABLES. WATCH FOR ANY ODD BEHAVIOR. BREATH MOM, SHE WILL BE FINE

I think that you should call her pediatrician and listen to what he/she tells you to do.

If you are worried, then check on her every so often....unless it interferes with your computer time.
