what is mercadeo and mercadotecnia? what is the difference?

"Mercadeo" and "mercadotécnia" means the same thing, both mean Marketing, the only difference to me is that mercadotécnia sounds more "professional" in spanish. Don't confuse mercado (market) with mercadeo (marketing).

Actually, both means marketing. But "mercadeo" alienates itself more with research, it APPOINTS the objective; and "mercadotecnia" refers to techniques applied to achieve what mercadeo appointed as objective. But whether you call it mercadeo o mercadotecnia, most people will know that its referring to marketing.

p.s: market is "mercado." i.e. International market: Mercado internacional.

mercadeo it's about the sales and mercadotecnia it's the markerting.. mercadeo it's the result of sales
