I want to know if u believe in god and if u do i want to know why , if u dont then i would also like to know why, i my self dont believe becuase i find it hard to believe what some book has told me or anything like that, also i dont see how there could be something or someone out there that create himself.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

I believe there is "someone" or "something" responsible for the universe because physics tells us something cannot be ceated out of nothing. At one point there was no existence, and now there is existense. But i dont believe we can ever proof the existence of this entity. Therefore every religion is false. Religion was born because people were too ignorant to understand how the world and nature works. There is no loving god that created us. we are just "lucky" and not special. We are also not alone in the universe. There is so much life in the universe that are human minds cannot comprehend it. Christianity and Judaism tells us we're special and God's chosen people, but we are just one "lucky" civilization out of possibly trillions in the world. We are not special at all, and i wont waste another second of my life in believing in a "god" that doesnt exist

I have heard these , questions alot,such as "why should I believe in something I cant see","why should I believe in some book?"or"if there was a god then why dont he show us his existence" I am not going to preach to you because I dont like it when someone preaches to me but I can tell you this: I believe in a higher being who is superior to us. We have miracles happen everyday. We may not see all of them but they do happen. I dont think we were created by evolution and the fact that some people think we come from monkeys blows my mind. I have felt gods presence before at times in my life that I felt no one was there for me. I dint see him though. Its just like pain, you cant see it but you can feel it and know its there. I at one time felt god didnt exist because I went through a really rough patch but sometimes it takes the most lowest time of our lives that we discover god.

I'm ostensibly agnostic, but I could be considered an atheist by some definitions. I haven't seen any compelling evidence for the existence of God (or gods), but, since it's impossible to prove a universal negative, I can't say that there definitely is/are no God(s). So, I am a provisional non-believer.

I do believe in God because He has come through for me so many times. I love Him. I wish you could for 1 minute feel Him and you would know that He is real. If you ever get in trouble and say," Jesus help me if you are real," He will come and save you. If you ever need Him, when you are at the end of yourself,f call upon Jesus and he will not let you down. I promise, He is faithful and true. Just try Him.

People need to believe in something like the bible and good in order to get the strenght they need to deal with their problems, especially if they are at the end of their rope and the only hope is praying.

Yes I believe in Him. God has guided and helped me many times.
Infact I can't survive without my Dear God. I am afraid you have to believe in Him first in order to realise and experience him.

i agree.. in 2 thousand years we'll be praying to the mighty harry potter! Nothing but childeren stories. but god is different from our creators. expect them a little after 2012 during the revolution

I believe in God because I feel him...he brings me peace. I do not agree with organized religion though.
