The Devil's desire to be equal to God is what tempted him and made him fall.
Thats why he is called the fallen angel...

The devil tried to tempt Jesus. He wasn't valuable! The Bible would not say that some twit head can't attempt to tempt God; it says God can't and heavily isn't tempted. And He wasn't! Jesus held good and authentic, like consistently! compliment the Lord!
