Hmm, I wonder. Islam is only supposed to be the ultimate guide to worshipping God in every aspect of a Muslim's life. Not too much importance there, huh?
Sarcasm aside, your question is very broad. Islam really does have some influence on almost every daily activity, and sets down a certain structure to most rituals that has created an entire culture around it. If you know any practicing Muslims, its easy to see how religion touches every aspect of their lives.

It appears to me like a rigidly structured religion that would make any sensible person rebel and get the hell away from it.
