Are "Westerns" the biggest hypocrites in the world?

When the disrespectful depictions of the Holy Prophet were drawn, the westerns cried: FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION! FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Now when a Muslim criticizes the way their women dress they cry KILL HIM, SHOOT HIM, DEPORT HIM! HE CAN'T SAY THAT! TAKE IT BACK! WAH WAH WAH! WHAT A BUNCH OF CRY BABIES!! What happened to freedom of speech? Freedom of religion? Or is that just for your white country club types? Amazing how the media hates Islam so much that they blow up something that's nothing.

P.S. I was born in America so I understand this so-called Western mentality, but I'm not one of those crackpots I'm referring to... peace to all my Muslim brothers and sisters and to all of the truly faithful believers. This is just to expose some of the hypocrisy in this crazy world.

Ok...I know is hard and tempting to judge people, but u need to consider that most of them never had the chances u had. I was born in a non muslim country...and I did find islam becoz of the internet..just a few years ago. And I went to university where I developed a critical and analytical mind...but we need to be aware most of people are dragged to consumism and just dont have this chances.

For sure u were lucky, think u have to be more considered with those who were not.

I beleive the whole world is full of hypocrites and both westerners and muslims are some of the biggest hypocrites in the world. When you talk a bout free speech and freedom of religion look at the middle eastern countries. Christians are persecuted there, free speech for woman and non-christians isn't real big on the agenda. The media does have a go at Islam but in my country at least the muslim community gets away with a lot more than the anglo's do.

Not all "Westerns" are alike, any more than all Muslims are alike. News reports exaggerate the worst behaviors because people want to read exciting writing. No one likes to be criticized for their beliefs. I do wonder why people would stay in a country they don't like. It makes more sense to spend one's life among compatible companions with similar preferences than to go to a new place and try to make it like the one left behind.

Why do they continue to kill innocent people just to publicise their religious convictions.
I really don't think any "prophet or "God" or "whatever actually condones the taking of lives in the name of religion.
Whether it be Catholics, Muslims, Jews, or whatever it doesn't really matter.

Good point.

But as a Westerner, I have not said, "Kill him, shoot him," or anything of the sort. I think even most Westerners would disagree with such extreme actions or speech on either side.

I just think people do have the right to disagree, for example, saying, "Women are not meat; and men have human souls and minds, they can rise above being like animals."

Peace to all my Moslem brothers and sisters, and peace to all the world, even the unbelievers. The pen is mightier than the sword.

Freedom of expression means that not only you're allowed to critisize something, but also people are allowed to disagree with you. And I think you're exaggerating people's reactions...I doubt anyone seriously wants to shoot someone for critisizing the way someone dresses, but then again there's crazy people on both sides.

The biggest hypocrites in the world are the muslims.

Not white people, not christians or all the other infidels.

Only muslims, man woman and child are the biggest hypocrites on earth.

Yet look at muslims. They are stealing land, raping women and children who are not muslim and murdering innocent people in the name of allah.

And so is everyone else in the conspiracy to steal more land.

Muslims have killed about one billion hindus over the time they have been attacking the country. Now muslims are moving in to America and Canada and Europe and taking land there. But it is not allowed. All of the muslim race is criminal.
