I like a guy. I could swear he used to check me out all the time. I approached him one night when he was working in the library and tried to talk to him about a class we have together. I said I see him all the time (since we cross paths a lot on campus) and he said, yah I see you too and he even noticed what I was studying in the library that night I guess when I left my books on my desk for a bit while he was shelving books (so i guess he checked) Anyways, our 1st conversation was awkward. We were both shifty eyed and now he seems to be avoiding me entirely. What should I do? I mean I cant just act like we never met, for goddsakes I even asked his name and we shook hands. It's wierd now though.

He's shy. Inexperienced. Probably thinks you thought he was a creep that night, and that you're disgusted with him. I'd say just talk to him whenever you see him, even if it's just "hi". And don't make any physical moves until you're comfortable around eachother.
