Yes it has snowed. We experienced it 2 xmas's ago. The city closed down. It was a beautiful sight (very festive for Christmas Day) , and thank goodness, we were able to drive to my friend's sister's house to eat the beloved turkey.. Must say though, you've never seen snow until you've lived in Canada..

Yes, but it is quite rare. It snowed on Christmas of 2004 and about 20 to 25 years ago. New Orleans is pretty when it snows.

Christmas 2004 was the first time out of 21 years that I have ever seen snow fall there. I lived there my entire life and that was the first time I saw REAL snow! I should have known that we were going to get a Hurricane that next summer.
