she spends probably about an hour or less everyday e-mailing a man from the middle east and they claim that they love each other--they've never met!!
i cannot disconnect the computer because she might do something crazy. are there offices i could contact for this sort of help?

its not your problem...its hers. mind your business. im not being rude, but i have been in similar situations....let her live her life and you concentrate on yours...it will work out. whats he gonna do, come over and marry her. she is grown!

Confront her about her social time and life. Tell her that you want to go to a movie, go on a road trip, something to get her away from the computer. During that time, just make her understand that there is a real world out there. Depending on your ages, you could maybe go to a party and scope for guys. Mention cute guys WHEREVER you go. hey just chill it will be over in a while, just tell her how is she gonna posibly met him. tell her it will never last. he will get sick of her and throw her a side like anyother guy has done
