I don't worship a dead carpenter...
I worship a Living Lord!
What has He done for me? The list would take up several pages, but, at the very top would be:
He gave me the gift of Eternal Life!!
Please, don't waste your pity on Jesus. Save it for those who have denied Him.....

Behold, I am he who was alive, and was dead, and am alive forevermore.
Jesus was more than just a carpenter. You see, he was the Son of God, God the Son. He came to this earth and died that anyone who will believe in him would not have to face the judgement for their sins. But, you probably don't believe that either.
The Bible tells us that no man took the life of Jesus, but that he laid it down himself. He proved his own words, "No man hath greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends." You see though, not only did he lay his life down, but three days later, he arose. He went through the agony of the cross so that anyone, even you can have eternal life.
I don't care about the points on this crazy little game, or whether or not I get the best answer. What does that stuff matter anyway? What I do care about is the value of the human soul, and whether you believe me, or the Bible, or the carpenter from Nazareth, you have a soul and it is precious to God.
So, if you are so sure that that carpenter can do nothing for you, let me put a little challenge before you. For the next few days, ask God to show you whether or not Heaven and Hell are real. Ask him to show you whether or not Jesus really died for the sins of the human race. Ask him to show you if man really needs a savior. Ask him to give you light concerning all your doubts.
If your prayers are answered, accept Christ as your savior. If they are not, then you can rest at ease.
Signed,
The Old Time Preacher,

Jesus was more than a carpenter. He is a Saviour. Plus, He is not dead. He is alive! He has done a lot for me. He has gotten me through a very difficult financial situation and He has helped me as I go through a very horrible job I am currently in. Jesus is also helping me as I prepare to change jobs, and with His amazing blessing on me, I will hopefully change jobs within the next month or two.

SOL...
I believe in Jesus because he believed in me first. I don't imagine this means much to you - you sound like your full of anger. I don't know if you are, Lord knows that I could be wrong. But you've asked some questions with hard edges. Are you trying to be insulting on purpose? I don't know... But, whether you want it or not, I'll be praying for you. I'm not out for the conversion here. That's something other Christians can do and do well - was never something I felt driven to do. I'll pray that your life takes a positive turn. You need to lighten up!!

Actually there are a number of prominant Lawyers througout history have argued successfully for the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. These names include Lord Darling, former lord Chief Justice in England. John Singleton Copely who lived from 1772-1880 is considered one of the best legal minds in British history. He was soliciter general and attourney general of great Britain. Hugo Grotius considered the father of modern law. J.N.D. Andereson, scholar of international repute who's qualification was in the subject of evidence. Sir Edward Clark, Irwin H. Linton. Simon Greanleaf who was the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard in 1842 (who was considered the greatest authority on evidence. Greenleaf believed the resurrection of Jesus was one of the best supported events in history. Lord Caldicote, lord chief Justice of england wrote that "an overwhelming case for the resurrection could be made merely as a matter of strict evidence" and "his resurrection has led me as often as I have tried to examine the evidence to believe it is a fact beyond dispute". To add a few more names if you wish to check out Richard F. Duncan Legal Scholar from Cornell. Donovan Campbell Jr. Wendell R. Byrd. Wiiliam Burns retired justice of the New York supreme Court and former dean of Norte Dame Law school

I don't think we are speaking of the same Jesus. The Jesus I know is not dead but is alive and living in His believers.

Hey now, I'm not Christian, but that dead carpenter had some pretty nifty ideas, don't you think? If only a few more people would try them out...

I know that God is not a myth. I know that my Savior was slain. I know that he's living within me, and that I have heaven to gain.
I've had an experience beyond measure that know one can make me deny and I know If I will serve him, I'll live with him on high.
So if you think I'm crazy and It's only emotion you say. Just leave me along with my Jesus, For you see I'm happy this way. My Jesus helps me through trails, and lifts me up when I fall. Goodness and mercy go with me and he answers when ever I CALL!!!!

He was the starting-point of a religious movement which has given us most of the the things we value most about western culture -- human rights, the sense of the absolute worth of the human person, and a social ethic of mercy (at least ideally) being among them. I care about him because he has had an unparalleled influence for good on the history of the human race.

I inherited sin from Adam.
Jesus was the only one to qualify to save the see or offsprings of Adam. after they would be souls born in sin to die after a short miserable life full of troubles, so he did the same as we have done that he might prove that after 6,000 yeaars in day seven LOST, he will reign Rev.20:1-6 1000 years or the last 1000 year day of day seven to make all as perfect as it was before Eden.
He could have destroyed everything and none of the offsprings of Adam would have that opportunity for life or to know how much Jesus wanted us to have life and that we might not have done what Adam did. I would like to think I would not have done so.
