For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. God gave us all a choice as to wether or not we believe. thats the most wonderful thing about him. If you choose not to believe that's your choice.

How is that wonderful? By refusing to prove Himself, God is allowing countless good people to damn themselves and go through their lives without ever knowing Him. It would be wonderful only if faith weren't necessary, if all it took was observation.

This choice you laud may work out great for you, my pious child of Abraham, but if you're correct about God existing, then this same choice will prevent many from entering Heaven. And you think THAT is the most wonderful aspect of God?

I completely and absolutely disagree.

Not a choice to have faith, we don't have that capability. "For God so loved the world" is an outward call; "whosoever believeth in him" refers to the ones that he has chosen, and that meshes very nicely with the predestination statements in Romans.

Yes,Jehovah is a wonderful God.However, its unfortunate that many are blinded to the fact and believe that Jesus is God the Son and not the Son of God

If that were true, there'd be no choice about it. If you don't believe in Him, He'll send you to hell, right? That's like someone holding a gun to your head and saying, "You can choose between option A and option B, but if you pick option A, I'll blow your brains out. But the choice is completely up to you."

I think the most wonderful thing is that he gave us the choice to punch preachy jerks like you in the mouth if we ever have to deal with them in real life!

I cannot make assumptions about a character I don't even believe to exist.

It is, I guess--but a sad choice....
When you can be so peaceful and content and happy and joyful inside, KNOWING God.
