No money doesn't mean everything, but to some degree it can bring happiness! I know I'm alot happier when all the bills are paid and things are in order. I'm not talking about money to go out and buy whatever, just money enough to survive and not worry.

Money does not mean everything, but it does bring happiness.
If you have a terminal disease, money is essentially worthless. You can't take it with you.
If you live on the street or in a miserably lowly paid job, a check of $100,000 will make your life much, much happier!
You need a certain minimum amount of money in order to make sure that you have a certain quality of life. If you are doing fine, there is no guarantee that a stressful job paying $250,000 a year will add to your happiness long term.
In the end, you will have to make a decision. The answer is not the same for all people. It's still warmly recommended to pursue happiness, and if money is the instrument that will take you there, go for it.

You did not state which side of the debate you are on.
Does money mean everything and bring happiness?
Pro: Yes, in our capitalistic society, and even in communistic society, Finances mean you can maintain a lifestyle relatively free of worry, better food and health care for you and your family, and potentially have a buffer against hard times.
Con: If you have money, you can lose it or it can be taken away. If you don't have money, getting it can consume you.

You can find the answer to this question by looking up something like -lottery winners where are they now- You will see that MANY overnight millionaires lost their fortunes in short order, died, are in jail, have kids on drugs, etc... WISDOM & EDUCATION bring happiness! They help you attain money by working and also empower you when the money comes. You can also do some searches on young pro athletes! Money makes people very different when they have had nothing and suddenly become wealthy.

No.. Money is not everything. It is Just a need for man. It does mean something, not everything. Consider yourselves as the richest man in the world. You'll have problems as much as you're rich. Money gives you happiness in one way. If you help the poor and the needy. Have you read this before?
Money can get you a new bed,
But, not dreams ( Sleep ).
Money can get you medicines,
But not health.
Money can get you a lover,
Nut not a true love.
Money can get you luxuries,
But no joy.
Money can get you education,
But no knowledge.

If you're a clinically depressed person, money won't make you happy--unless you use it to get treatment.
While it's possible to be happy without money, on the whole II believe money can bring happiness, because it relieves worry and stress, can enable good health care and education.

My best friend and I have this debate all the time...and while I do understand her postition, I have to stick with my initial thinking and say that money does not make ME happy. I cant answer for everyone, especially not her. I honestly do believe that money makes her happy. You see I'm a firm believer that life is all about what you make of it, the experiences, the joys, the traveling, seeing people for who they are, building relationships, enjoying building my career, enjoying nature...these are the things that make me happy. And I can do these things whether I have 5,000 dollars in the account or 500.00
My best friend is the polar opposite, I do believe that she does enjoy life experiences but I dont think she values them or believes that she can value them without money. I dont believe that she thinks anything in life worth having or worth experiencing can be had or done without money. And for her its not just obtaining it, its the pursuit of it that makes her excited. She loves to conjure up ways to get it and she loves to hold and of course equally loves to spend it. I have seen her be extremely happy with it and extremely depressed without it. She believes it gives one power and respect and status. She thinks if someone believes you have money your opinion will be much more respected than if they believe you dont. That power and respect and status is something she believes that only money can provide.
So I guess knowing her and knowing me has made me believe that money has made some happy, even me (at times)...it has helped me to enjoy some success. And because I'm a legend in my own mind money will never make my voice louder or the lack of it cause me to be muffled under the voices of the money holders. But there is a very fine line, I never want to chase it. But for her, I hope the joy of chasing it lasts as long as it needs. I believe its all about balance. Life experiences without money will not be rich and full and what they could be, should it be present. And true in reverse, money without a joy and a desire for the most in life will too disappoint. They go hand in hand...like she and I...let money lead you to happiness in richer life experiences.
