I have started taking a fiber supplement, drink a ton of water, and have been trying to eat more high-fiber foods, and nothing seems to be helping. I only go maybe twice a week, and in the meantime I am so bloated I appear pregnant! I do not want to take laxatives all of the time, what could this problem be caused by so that I can correct it?

Do you sit a lot? Maybe you need to get up and walk around some. Some people only go twice a week. As long as it isn't very large, hard and painful, that may be often enough for you. It also could be another medical problem. If you aren't getting relief, see your doctor. It could be serious.

Taking alot of pills will do this to u. It happened to my friend once. She had it bad to tha point tht she had to go to tha ER. She tried everything but nothing would help. Some enema's helped her a little. Also, drinking seal oil laxative will help out. It tastes nasty though. Good luck.

Definitely see your doctor. It sounds like you're doing everything right, so it might be medical. And you're right, it's not a good idea to use laxatives all the time, as your body can become dependent on them.

See a doctor. He will check for the usual culprits and if those are not the case will order a colonoscopy to see if you have a blockage or growth, polyp or tumor causing the problem.
