While we're at it...

- Why are there mailboxes in front of the post office? You're there, already!

- Why do you need a hot water heater in your house? You don't need to heat hot water!

- Why is the Department of Interior in charge of everything outdoors?

- Why does cargo come by ship, and a shipment come by truck?

A question I have asked myself. The reason is that 7-11's are too cheap to have two people on at the same time during slow hours (12 - 6 AM). So if the employee on duty has to leave the till to go to the washroom or get supplies they have to lock to door to prevent theft.

the top days won't ensue for some billions of years yet. i can not say that's going to be great residing on a planet that has been wrecked by way of the money grabbing climate substitute deniers and that i strongly suspect that the human race would have become extinct (in line with the Earth's historic previous) properly until now the top of the planet so relax, we've some extra years to bypass. Your version of the "end days" is very too fictional for me to remark upon.

One possibility is the doors are manufactured that way and its probably a standard size so its not known that its going to a 7-11 until its sold.

When you can figure out why they call them 7-11's then you might be able to figure out the logic behind the locks on the doors.

I guess they used to be open from 7am till 11pm (hence the name) ... and so they locked up over night ...

But now they are open 24/7 they prolly just have them in case people from Everett get overexcited purchasing 40z of 2/11 and need to be quarantined.

Good question.
