this guy i like is totally great but he makes me feel really awkward like he'll ask me a question and i'll freeze up and say something idiotic. Any tips to help me losten up

If it's inappropriate akward, then let him know that it's inappropriate. If it's normal akward, then just relax, laugh, smile, and put him on the spot sometimes too.

Visualize & imagine entire conversations with him this may help you calm down when you are really talking to him.
