SAP is short for "Secondary Audio Program" & acts soft of like the "Audio Language" settings on a DVD.

SAP is usually used to dub shows in Spanish OR as "Descriptive Audio" for the blind, depending on network. However, the show or the network could use the SAP channel for whatever they want.

SAP is becoming a popular alternative for people as it allows native Spanish-speakers to enjoy shows that support it.
