I just broke up with guy of four months who was emotionally distant and hard to get. I really love him though. I want him sooo bad. But, i felt that he knew he was short-changing me and if I didn't step up and respect myself then he would continue his behavior. He is very upset that I broke up with him and trying to talk me into it again. I agreed to meet him tomorrow to give back his stuff. He is going to try to get back with me, I'm scared I'll give in, how do I say NO!?

Think of how he was treating you while you two were together, that will help you say no. You don't want to go through it again, it won't change, and he is hoping that you're weak enough to take him back when he meets you tomorrow, you have to be strong. You two were only together four months and that is long enough amount of time to love someone, but it's short enough for you to still move on and get over him.

If he is not going to treat you right dont give him a chance. He will never do any good for you.You will be helping him to know the mistake he made and he proble wont make them later on in life

Drop his stuff off at a mutual friend's house so that you don't have to actually see him. Or take a friend with you. He may not be inclined to talk about personal matter with someone else there!

Tell him you are sorry but it just wasn't working for you two and if he ask why just simply tell him the truth and see what he has to say. See if he is willing to change or if he is not then make a true decision.

If you really are scared...well, you might try sending back his stuff by mail, and leaving a note, too.
