I'm going to be there for 2 weeks in November with a couple of friends. I have a girlfriend back home, but my other 2 friends want to hang out where the other single folks are. Are there any activities or areas that are more 'single' than others?

no, women are pretty scarce here, but single women are extinct! lol, jk, it's not that bad. check out the clubs and you'll see lot of girls night outers. best club would be paradice bluez, hapa's, moose mcgillycuddy's, casanova's, and the dragon. i'm really not joking about the rare single women here, but good luck. i'm sure there will be a lot of tourists, so there's your chance to get lucky. enjoy your stay on maui, aloha!

Go to Lahaina. Lots of restaurants/bars there. Or you can hang out at the hotel beaches along the Kaanapali coast.
If you really want some action, and see/meet single people, go to Honolulu. Very crowded, however.
