ask her out mid-week, so that it seems more like hanging out than a date.

DONT do it dude. Trust me. No good can come of it. If it goes wrong, you still have to look at her every day and be reminded. Yeah, I'm bitter, but it's experience talking. Seen it happen, didn't think it would be that way for me, but it was. The best way is to leave the company, go work somewhere else, then do whatever you want.

Watchout relationships in the work place can blow up in your face BIG or be very uncomfortable id just leave it alone or pursue but be ready for the hell that awaits if you get her and hope to work "with" her for 2 long.

Seperate your professional life from your private life.
Work isn't school, and do you remember school relationship drama? Do you think your supervisor or boss wants that in the office?
DONT DATE AT WORK. If you were my employee, I'd fire you.

Go up to her and ask her straight up! there's no best way to do this but to walk up to her and ask her seriously "hey what are you doing saturday?... lets go out!" if she says "NO" then she's not interested in you! but if she says "YES" than your in!
