Wouldn't 317 gods want a lot of tithing?

You remind me of the time that Paul was preaching on Mars Hill a place were they had several gods and all had a name except one.It seems they were afraid that they would miss worshiping the right one so this particular one had the inscription "THE UNKNOWN GOD" Paul declared Him to them and admonished them for how superstitious they where, read Acts 17:21-30. I really think you will like it.

One has always been enough for me.
But I wonder...is it difficult to keep track of all 317 of your gods? How do you know which one to pray to in any given situation, and how do you know which one answers, if any of them do? Do you keep a special day for each god? Someone already asked about the tithe situation...

Sounds way too complicated for me...
I think I'll stick with the One I've been worshipping for most of my life.
The One Who died at Calvary, and is alive forevermore!

Where are you man, every one knows there can be only one god, even though we might worship many. Stop going after numbers.

My God does things for me what about your 300, I have faith in one true God to help me.

It would take you less effort to find truth and Proof in one God -Jesus, if you didn't waste so much energy, on those and resentment of the real God.

consider this, if there was more than one god.. wouldnt they all wanna get over eachother and eliminate the rest, because they'll surely dissagree upon certain issues wont they?

It is interesting to me that someone of intelligence would make that comment. I am curious, Which god is the leader of all 317 gods? It seems to me that one has to be over all the others. Which one has more authority? Which god is the one who has more power than the others? My questions could go on like this for quite some time. I ask this not to make light of your comment, but rather to have you be sincere in what you believe. If you answer all gods are equal then who is in charge? Who created what, etc... I believe in one eternal God who exists outside of our time domain. A God, who before time was created saw into the future and knew this very day you and I would be discussing this very issue. The God I worship is worthy of worship, He thought so much of you that more than 2000 years ago He sent His only Son to enter into our time dimention, live a life perfect and without sin as an example to all of us on how to live...ie "Love your neighbor as yourself" God did not say to hate your enemies instead to love them as well. The God I worship gave His Son Jesus, to die on a cross for the remission of sins, that means that He died for my sins 2000 before I committed them, the Bible says that while I was yet a sinner Christ died for me... This is not only foreknowellege of my sins but also forgiveness of them as well. I don't believe that anyone can fully understand what it took to remove not only my sins as great as they might be, but all of mankinds sin was nailed to the cross if we but accept this forgiveness. We only have to look at the world we live in to see how horrible we have become.... America has become a great nation in a short time and in a shorter time we have devoided ourselves of our morals. A great nation that has produced many great men and women has also produced a tremendous amount of garbage ie. porn, drug/drug use, hate, violence etc etc... We have removed God from our shcools and brainwashed our kids to believe that they came from monkeys... It is no wonder our kids are acting like animals, going around fighting, maiming, raping, killing etc. This is not how we should live our lives. God has a great amount of patience thankfully, but one day that patience will run out and His judgement will come. I am not a doomsdayer or prophet just someone who believes that the Word of God is true and since it is true God's promises will be fullfilled. The amazing love He has for everyone reguardless of who they are is mindblowing and is an example for all of us to live by. Imagine, A God Who So Loved Each And Everyone ON This Planet That He Gave His Only Son To Die On The Cross, A Horrible Death, He Took ALL The Sin Of ManKind And Nailed It To The Cross So We Don't Have To Be Held Accountable For Our Sins. All you have to do is ask God's forgiveness and receive free the GIFT of eternal life. Out of the 317 gods you state you believe in which ones have done this for anyone? I know for certain that the God I serve wants deeply for you to have a relationship with Him... That is to say He wants you to get to know Him personally. I encourage you to ask Him to make Himself known to you and He will be faithful to answer you. May God Bless you...In His Service...<><
