Any Native Hungarians out there? Can you please clarify something?

I have been told that the word Father in Hungarian is spelt Edesapa as well as Edeszapa. Which one is correct?

The correct spelling is édes apa 'sweet/dear father'. apa is 'father' without the adjective.
