I propose that there is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between believing that god is fortifying you, and believing in yourself. Can you prove otherwise?

Unless you can demonstrate how you were able to do something with the "aid of god" that no other human being has ever been able to do unassisted, you don't have a very convincing argument for faith.

(And, no, I don't care about life after death because despite what you've been taught, NOBODY knows for certain what happens.)

Your proposal is based on a supposition that cannot, in your estimation, be proven.
Of course the same question could be asked of you. Can you prove that it is your own abilities that have landed you where you are? Or do the results speak for themselves? Are you vastly wealthy? Are you massively powerful and successful? If not...then we may assume that your strength was not enough to make you successful....so, why should we believe that you are a good example of living for your self?
Giving God the glory for the good in our lives is simply the least He deserves, but it is human arrogance to assume that because we cannot see the movements and workings of God, that He is not doing anything.
Your question is as much on your plate as the christian, but in the end, the christain will have lost nothing if we're wrong. While you will have lost all.

I can tell that you do not yet believe in God. Did you notice that I used a Upper Case "G" when I typed God? This is a big give away people do when they don't give God the respect He deserves.

Until you come to a time and place that Our Heavenly Father has in mind for you you will never understand no matter how many people try to tell you.

People must humble themselves before God before He will give you any credence.><>

Your inner strength comes from God

God gives me the strength I need to get through my job, otherwise I would quit. If the Lord was not intervening on my behalf, I would have quit my job long ago. Thankfully, God knows what I need and He has given it to me.

For some people, if they pray and and do recieve inner strength, they would think its from god. They probably didn't notice it there before or they were just taught to believe that its the only way it could happen.

Sometimes some people need to believe that it came from a higher power. It makes it seem more valuable and important, somewehre. I dunno

You are right to a large degree except you don't take into consideration how other people think.

For some people finding love through an outside source is very powerful.

And as long as it works (and it *does* work for many) who are you or I to criticize?

If you have never prayed or had a relationship with God then it is beyond ur comprehension and ur questions and comments are a waste of space.

If you have never received Jesus in your you will never know the strenght that He gives to you..We know what happens when you die because God put His word in the hearts of His people so that we know how we should live...If you never have know Jesus then I would assume you don't know what we feel when we pray for strenght..
