I thought it may have been caused from my DSL but still have a problem even when it is disconnected. There are very tiny lines about an inch down at top of the screen. Wondering if it's possible my neighbors dish or pc could be the cause. Only happens on one tv.

Magnetic fields can cause problems with your picture. If you have a speaker for a stereo sitting next to the tv, then move it. The magnet in the speaker can cause distortion in the picture. If you don't have one next to it, then you might want to try to restore to the factory settings of the TV in the setup menu.

I think it is the channel which has teletext or whatever you call it in whatever country you are in. It seems like the way teletext shows up when the vertical flyback circuitry is not properly suppressed because of a component ageing.
