I just got out of a relationship and I started talking to this guy that at first we agreed to be friends but now im single i want to be more than friends.... I asked him to go to this event this weekend on a date.....and he didnt say no but he pretty much pushed the date all the way till Sunday...and his excuses were he wants to sleep friday night and party saturday.. I mean I just dont know if he was just making excuses up I mean I think he likes me and plus im goodlooking but i suck at dating i just dont know how to do it anymore im just a dope.....

He may like you, but he may not be ready to actually "date", dating leads to an relationship and maybe he just wants to party and be able to talk and hang out with you when he wants. But don't push him away if you really like this guy, take it slow, don't rush it.

I can relate.... It is hard to start dating again after being commited for so long..... It sounds like you two were pretty good friends. I think you should just ask him and tell him serously to give you an honest answer... I just don't think that pushing a date back two days just to sleep and to party is a very good sign. He probrably would have asked you out with him for the Saturday night partying if he wanted to be more than friends. Thats what I would think if some guy did that to me... I could be wrong, so try to talk to him about it and ask him. If you really like this guy I hope all go's well.

Since you just got out of a relationship you probably need some good fun. I know that you like this guy, but wouldn't you rather go with someone who was excited and interested in going? When someone asks me to do something and it's something I really want to do I let them know yes right away. Especially if you have nothing better to do than sleep and partying. What if he's too hung over to go on Sunday -I've heard that one before!

It doesn't sound good, maybe he want to sleep with someone Friday night and party with someone else Saturday. Why on earth would someone want to sleep Friday night instead of going on a date with someone he likes? It doesn't look like he's a great catch.

Some people genuinely like going out saturdays and sleeping on friday night. If you dont think you can trust him then theres no point even starting a relationship.
