Hi There,
If you are looking for generating invoices for your customers for your small scale business, then I'd recommend Quickbooks especially version 2005 if you get somewhere. Version 2005 has the feature to rebuild the data externally and any type of...I mean any type of Data issue could be resolved which doesn't happen in version 2006. If it's only to maintain personal accounting then go for Quicken. Microsoft money and PeachTree are the others which could prove worth. But if you are looking for a software which needs to be User friendly then select any one from Intuit.
You can also synchronize your financial institution's statement and Online payments from your customers, also.
Hope this helps..

The best way to pay bills is through your Bank's website and here's why.
- it's quicker
- it means, No Envelopes
- it means, No Stamps
- it means, Pay closer to the Due Date
- it means, Not worrying about the Post Office delivery
- it means, better credit
You see, it takes a few moments to check the status of your payments, and watch the progress throughout the month. Banks PAY BILLS feature is usually FREE for personal accounts.
But this also means that you MUST maintain your computer properly. Don't share it with children, and keep it virus and Spyware free. Become skeptical about emails from Financial companies and banks... but ALWAYS log into their website by using your FAVORITE. DO NOT USE a link from an e-mail.
Some banks need Quicken or Microsoft Money to make it work. But they often provide this for FREE with the account. So check your bank TODAY.
BE SAFE.
Good luck

If you're looking for business accounting software, I'd recommend Quickbooks, or Microsoft Small Business Accounting.
If you're looking for software to manage your personal bills, I'd recommend Microsoft Money or Quicken Home.
