Soft scrub detergent (you'll find it in the laundry and kitchen section at most stores;MEIJER,KROGERS,K-MART) .gently rubbed (in a circular motion not with a lot of pressure) the white out will come off and the original car finish will be undamaged wash the car and use the right touch up paint and sealer and you will be right as rain .

White out usually comes with a bottle of it and a bottle of thinner.

First, the whiteout will dry hard and brittle. You may have good luck in just using a piece of plastic to gently scrape it off. Don't scrape so hard the original paint is damaged.

Last, use the thinner. ONLY put it on the whiteout and keep it off the paint. Put a little one and wipe it off. When you are through wash that area to make sure you didn't leave any thinner on the paint. Good luck. Pops

going over it with fine sandpaper will do. you can go to any auto parts store, or walmart for that matter, and get a scratch repair kit, plus get the proper color of touch up paint to cover the scratches up.
