when i think about a best friend, i think about someone i enjoy spending time with, someone i have much in common with, someone i can tell almost anything if not everything, someone i could call in the middle of the night and not worry about it because they will understand, someone who can help me rationalize the unrational, someone who i can laugh with and someone who will either cry with me or help me to see the light, someone who gives you unconditional love, someone who loves you no matter how stupid you've been or how stupid something you did was. Do you fit any of those? It is a very special honour to be someone's best friend!

My husband is my best friend.
I trust him. I talk with him about every thing. I listen to him. He listens to me. He holds me when I need to be held. He makes fun of me, without hurting me when I get too full of myself. He lets me put my cold feet on him at night. That is just a part of what I mean when I say my husband is my best friend.
