You have been asininely misinformed. American is Not a christian nation. There is a Bountiful list of other Religions and non-religions in America. Please Do Your RESEARCH.

Satan is working so hard lately because he knows he's got a few time left. So he is trying to gain followers not only americans, but from all over ther World to show the universe that he was right with the imposibility to live without sin. But praise God, Jesus show us while lived here that it is posible through a living communion with God's power. So the Church of Satan is going to grow during the last days left to Earth history until Jesus comes again and will destroy sin, sinners, bad angels and Satan. Then God, will make a new heaven here in Earth and the redeemed ones will live here forever, eternally!!!
Certainly, the USA was in its first years a true God's followers when the ship "May Flower" first came to US coasts running away from European powerfull church's persecution for trying to obey Bible teachings and not human tradition costumes made by that church...
From Kennedy, the US nation start going away from God's Word and now you can see how the Ten Comandments were prohibited or hidden from many public buildings because of Satan's hard working on human hearts against everything called "true Christians obeying God's Word".

I'm not sure why the church of Satan is there, but I do know that the black mass is preformed there, believe me vary scary stuff.
