what are you feeding it? it's not only human food that makes the dog fart. sometimes even good "wet" dog food that comes in a can like purina, and pedigree etc. will make certain dogs gassy. wet food is okay to give them if you find the right kind. my dog had this problem so i switched it's food. i forgot the brand name but it says "i/d" on the front of the can and i got it at my vet, its like 85 cents per can. its not as juicy and wet yet the dogs still love it. if you dont want to spend that much money, try only feeding it dry dog food. maybe a healthy diet kind?

Try him on a different food if it is that bad. But don't just change it all of a sudden, change it over about a week, taking out the old, and adding the new until you just have new food. This may or MAY NOT help. Oh...and don't stand down wind.

For the fastest, get charcoal biscuits from the pet supply. For the long term, try a different brand of dog food. Every time we get a new critter we have to adjust the brand to the animal. Not every dog digests the same way, so you have to try different brands to see which works best. Good luck!

all air breathing mammals expell air & gas I would change his dog food try them gradually and keep notes on his progress. Then if you've tried a few unsuccessfully call your vetenarian. my dog once had a stomach virous and I had to feed him low residue dog food.

Well, it's always good to have a farting dog, so you can use him as an excuse when you have company...

Change his/her diet. Just like there are foods that make you gassy, there are some foods that will make dogs gassy. Dogs are as individual as people, and what makes one dog gassy may not make another gassy.

Be sure to make a gradual change with the food, so as not to upset the stomach.

It is probably the kind of dog food your feeding it. Don't worry, my Pug farts all the time. Just hold your nose and pray that she stops soon, lol. =)
