If we are grieved here on earth, imagine how the Father grieves for the whole world?
Just thinking about it is pretty intense.

No, being a Christian, my mind keeps up with all negative thoughts, it is constantly discarding evil thoughts. It flows like a peaceful river and crashes like a thunderous tide, but in the end all confusion is caused by fear and I generally don't fear what I can handle at the moment.

Difficulties for sure, but our confidence is in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
2 Cor. 4:7-9
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; [8] we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; ..."
Everyone has hard times,
Acts 24:24-25
But some days later Felix arrived with Drusilla, his wife who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus. [25] But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, "Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you."

Yes I do. Satan loves to confuse us so we begin to lose faith in God and Jesus Christ. What I have learned to do when I get really confused is too pray against the spirit of confusion. I say out loud "Spirit of Confusion, you have no right to enter my mind, I command you to leave my mind in the name of Jesus" When we speak out loud and command the negative thoughts to go in Jesus Name, they must flee. The confusion brings the grief because we start to doubt God's word. By asking this question, you are doing the right thing. Surround yourself around positive Christians who can give you scriptures to claim over your life. Look in the back of your bible under confusion and grief and go to the scriptures that the bible references on these topics and read them out loud. Get them into your spirit. The Bible is your sword against evil. I know it's hard to pick it up and read it when you are feeling down but it will help. God's promises are true. God does not lie. He is here for you, just pray and ask him for help. God Bless You.

There have been times when I have felt confused. They have been during times when I have been attacked by satan. The Lord always shows me the Truth after I wallow in it for awhile.
