It is illigal to get copyrihgted songs and movies.

Some songs from Indipendant artists are not copyrighted, and can still be shared over Limewire, therefore making the program itself very legal.

Depends on your point of view. I don't think its illegal though because it is a great way that can get the artist famous

No your only sharing because once you download something someone else is gonna download from you too so if your breaking the law everyone else is also. I use it all the time but just for music

Depending on the stuff you download. Downloading copyrighted music or videos is not legal, but downloading freeware, or non-copy protected music or videos is.

Yes and No. The file sharing is leagal, but when you get into sharing copyrighted music/programs it is illeagel.
