Obviously you both need to talk because you are upset enough to post this question.

What does it mean when he treats you like a friend? What are your expectations? (Keep it real.)

You are your own person and he is his own person, together you are a couple. How long have you been together?

Sometimes when people have been together for awhile, they are comfortable just hanging out together -- one may watch a movie, the other reads or plays a video game . . .

How old is he? How old are you? Again, what are your expectations? There would be no respect in him hanging all over you or you hanging all over him. If you want a bit more romance in your togetherness, give him a hint -- fix a candlelight dinner (or have someone else fix it and serve it) or something you would consider romantic. But to expect this 24/7 would not be realistic. I know lots of married people whose spouses are their best friends and yes, they are very happy.

Well, this could either be really good, or really bad.
He could only see you as a friend, but he just might be very comfortable and compatible with you!
You should probably ask him about it, has he told you that he loved you? It could go either way. In some really good relationships, sometimes you even forget you're dating! And you just feel like you're hanging out with your best bud! =)

Talk to him, and see what's up. Just tell him that you feel things are different lately, and it seems like he is treating you more like a friend than a girlfriend. And, hopefully he'll give you an honest answer of what is going on.

maybe he treats you like a friend as you are very insecure and show no confidence in your self. Having a boy by your side is not a status symbol, it is a friend spending time with a friend
