we built a bag opener like for chips...to open chips so we used pulleys and to clips but the clips arent strong enough to get pulled what do I do...we already have that built but we dont really need the clips since they dont work

Increase the grip area and friction coefficient of your clips. Try using sometime like Popsicle sticks, to increase griping pressure (more strength from clips that are opened slightly), and with sandpaper to increase the griping strength by reducing bag slippage.

Hi. Use a piece of duct tape with and grab the tape, one of each side of the bag.
