You are describing the symptoms of mental illness. The movie, "The Sixth Sense," was only fiction, a completely made-up story designed to entertain. When a person actually thinks they are seeing or hearing ghosts, something is wrong. Please see a doctor. Tell your school counselor, your father, anyone who will listen, about your "ghosts"and they will get you the help you need. There are medications that will help you. Don't wait, get help NOW. I'm very sorry about your dog and that your father plans to have her put to sleep but there is nothing I can do. It sounds as if she may be suffering, with her arthritis and bladder problems, although a vet may be able to help with those things. Has anyone taken her in to find out if she could at least get some pain pills and something for a urinary tract infection (if that is what the problem is)? You are only 14 but your dog is very old. You say she is annoying but you want to keep her around as long as possible, even though she runs into walls. Surely you don't enjoy watching her suffer like that? misspelled words: sense, remember, certain, during, rustling, skittering, scariest, rattling, arthritis, deaf, blind, really, annoying, bladder, losing...Please use Spell Check next time.

We've recently found a lost dog. Been thru all the things to try to find her proper owners.

1. Call your local shelters to report a lost pet. You'll give a description and they will let you know if one that fits it comes in.

2. Put flyers EVERYWHERE in a 5 mile radius of where you live... pet supply stores, phone poles, schools, anywhere they'll let you.

3. Run a lost ad in your local paper and any smaller weekly papers if there are any.

4. Offer a reward for the return of your dog.

5. If you live in a city that offers Craigs List.com, put an ad there.

First of all, find the most recent picture you have of her. Make copies of that for all the local shelters in your area. That way if she is turned in they know exactly what she looks like. Write down anything about her that stands out. Also her name.

Then, make copies for around the neighbourhood with that picture on it. If you put any on hydro/telephone poles, use PACKING TAPE. Not only will it protect more in case of rain, but servicemen need to be able to go up and down the poles withour risk of staples stabbing them. Put signs up at local markets and convenience stores too.

I would also go door to door with flyers of the same sheet. Call the radio station, they likely have a lost/found segment. Newpapers generally allow a free ad if you dont put a reward.

Good luck, hope you find the furbaby!

I am sorry your dog ran away. Newspapers will let you place a lost dog ad for free, but you may only be allowed to run it for one day free. If you have local freebie papers in your area, you could place an ad on there. Go to the local shelters and look and see if your dog is there. Good luck. I hope you find her.

Go talk to local businesses, neighbors, anyone/place near your house to please look out for your dog & if it is noticed to please call you. Give dog's name so anyone finding it can call it by it's name & then call you to come get her. We had to do this when our dog went missing for 3 days. We were very lucky the little corner store employees saw him, called him by his name, then called us to collect him. Those 3 days were horrible & we were soooo happy to have him back! Hope this suggestion helps & you get your precious doggie back real soon.
