Contrary to what the movies would suggest, the worst thing that could happen in asking a guy out is that he could say no. A guy will not mess around with your feelings, if you ask and he says no, that means he doesn't dig you and you can move on.

I feel you have to gain more self confidence. Once you feel good about yourself, you will feel more secure to ask him. I understand what you are saying because if he says no, you will still have to see him at the party. But you never know until you try. Think positive and go for it. Good Luck

I think that you should ask him! You never know he might say yes! But, i think that you shouldn't give up! You need to be brave and ask him to homecoming, it's worth a try! Good Luck!

I hate to be blunt...but you get rid of the feeling by asking him..there is no solution to being nervous...you really like the guy its natural...but you have to sack up the balls and just go for it

I would ask him right away. You know if you wait to long someone else might snatch him up & you might miss something good. The most he can say is "NO". Better to ask & put your mind at rest then to beat yourself up being afraid. If you are to afraid to ask face to face maybe call him & ask? Good luck!

Just ask him, but know this. Juniors are horn dogs and if you're not ready to put out don't ask him.

What's the worst outcome? He won't go.
If you do not ask what is the worst outcome? He will not go.
So... Ask him
