Soy protein is not a complete protein. If you are looking to build up muscle strength with a complete protein, whey protein is the best way to go. Too much soy in your diet is not entirely healthy. If you do not want to take whey protein, the best way is through your regular diet.

Soybeans are a source of complete protein.[6], [7]. A complete protein is one that contains significant amounts of all the essential amino acids that must be provided to the human body because of the body's inability to synthesize them. For this reason, soy is important to many vegetarians and vegans. However, the phrase complete protein can be misleading since whole eggs have a higher biological value of 100 versus a lower 74 for soy.[specify] Soy protein is similar to that of other legume seeds, but has the highest yield per square meter of growing area, and is the least expensive source of dietary protein.
