to make a long story short, i wrestle, and i need to cut weight. What should i pay the most attention to: carbohydrates, Calories, Fats, or actual weight (in grams)? and is there something i could eat that woudl fill me up but not "up" my weight to much, so to speak?

you should try to eat 5 times a day 3 normal meals with 2 heathy good size snacks this will speed up you motabolism and allow you to have the energy you need to keep wrestling. Stay away from bad carbohydrates which will make you feel slow good carbs are your whole grain products like oatmeal, Brown rice, Etc
white breast chicken has alot of protein without alot of fat and carbs turkey and fish is good too. Eggs are awsome lots of protien very little carbs just high colesterol. I lost alot of weight sitcking to this diet got my body fat real low.

Try to not eat fast foods as these are leaded! These foods are very fatty. Limit sweets to just the weekend so you can have some discipline with them. Cut your portions back, this will really help too. So here you go: No fast food, eat healthier than this, and no sweets, except for some one day a week, these two things will help quite a bit.

cut calories.
eat rice cakes and drink water afterward...the water makes the rice cake expand in your stomach giving you more of a full feeling.
