I have protein powder which i should be consuming right now but have no milk which ive always been using. The protein powder is banana flavored. Is there something else i can mix it with besides milk as milk makes my stomach feel super bad....

I agree with Kathy. I am lactose intolerant and don't drink milk. I often make soy milk smoothies and add protein powder to it. If it is whey protein, make sure it is lactose free. It might be the lactose in the milk that is causing stomach problems.

Its unlikely as whey is part of milk (as is casein). Have you thought of a non whey protein powder - you can get hemp powder or pea powder check which one sounds more use to you, you'll be able to find it at a health food shop

Try water. Tastes wierd at first but you soon get used to it. Milk may also inhibit your body's ability to absorb a lot of the protein.

Than you answered your own question - no. If milk works best and it doesn't cause stomach upset GO GET MILK or skip your next shake.

Just mix it with water. Thats what i always do. Never have mixed it with milk.

I love soy milk, and use it in everything instead of dairy.
