Usually about 3 times a week. It's best to wash your hair, skip a day, wash, etc. This is just because too much washing strips your hair of it's natural oils, and this can actually make your hair greasier because your body compensates for the dryness by making more natural oils, and then you have to wash it more...a vicious cycle. So generally about 3 times a week is a good routine to get into.

you're only suppose to wash it two or three times a week. i know....it might sound gross but honestly washing it more than that isn't healthy at all. you should buy the Paul Mitchell Rinse and use it like everyday or every other day. It just gets rid of the dirt and the greasy feeling but it keeps the oil that you need on your hair. another idea is to use a baby shampoo like baby johnson's shampoo if you wanna shampoo your hair often cause its not that strong so itll clean your hair yet itll keep the oils that you need on your hair.

I wash mine everyday, it gets oily and its not pretty. If i get sick or lazy i might skip a day but thats it. That stuff about putting baby powder on your oily hair is just a bandaide and it doesnt look good. When i know im going out i wash! I want it to smell good too. You never know who you'll run into.

i like to wash mine everyday, but if your hair seems manageable and not greasy the 2nd day, I would leave it alone and wash every other. They always say day old hair is the best to work with.

If you are a young person (teen...) then every single day or it gets oily and smells bad. (I know, I live with 4 of em!)
I only wash my hair every other day or it really dries out, even with good conditioner. If I go longer than every other day, it gets dirty and oily. Everyone's hair is different. It really depends on if your hair is fine, thick, dry, oily, normal. Even when I wash every day I do not dry with a blow dryer. My hair is really healthy and thick.

If I buy a really delicious shampoo and conditioner, I may wash every day (like B&BW Jasmine Vanilla...mmmmmmmm).

you should wait at least a day between washings..washing every day takes the natural oils out of your hair which can lead to dry britle hair...go as long as you can without it looking dirty..the older clients in my salon get their hair done once a week...you may need to wash more often if you tend to be oily..in that case you can purchase dry shampoos which you use without water...they obsorb the extra oil on the scalp and hair yet do not take out all of the oil which you need to keep hair in good shape.

I only wash my hair two (maybe three times in summer) because my hair is dry, frizzy, curly, and damaged. Frequent washing is harsh on the hair.
