There is this girl and she went to my middle school. She is one year younger than me and I've never said more than 20 words to her. I have picked up hints about her personality/likes/dislikes etc. I am very much like her and she is good-looking. Should i get to know her better and then ask her out or just let it drop???

I rarely see her. I see her only at school dances/sports games.

I think that since you guys don't go to the same school and see each other irregularly, you should first try to get to know her. Other wise she may get intimidated going out with a guy she knows nothing about. Do you have any friends in common, it doesn't matter if it's a friend of a friend, anything that can reassure her that you have good intentions.

So I would definitely try to talk to her during the times you see her, but if you really like her, try to find out where she is other times too. This most likely will again require friend connections. Just be above board and let your friends and her friends (if you can connect with them) that you think she's great and want to get to know her better. Girls love hearing this, it's flattering. It will get back to her, and if she's interested, her friends will help you guys get together. Ultimately, it's just school, and if it goes badly you'll forget it soon enough, but you don't want to be 30 and always wondering if you should have tried to meet that great looking girl. Good luck!

if u like this girl and u know her since middle school and she's one yr younger than u until now.if u want to know about her personality. wat do she do what kind of friends she hang out with, u must ask her out.sooo she can everything about you and alot more same goes for you.then you and your new girlfriend can be g/f and another thing dont every cheat on her because she will never talk to u again and don't ever never hit her or any other girl because if u do they'll go off!! and trust me it's not pretty.another thing treat her with respect show how much you care for her. be honest to her. tell her that you love her ask her if she loves u and how much tell to be honest with you.

Why no take a chance and ask her out. The worst possible outcome may be that she is not interested. However she may also be interested in you and is just unable to approach you to ask you out. You may be pleasantly surprised when she accepts and you have an opportunity to enjoy each others company. Good luck!!

from a girls point of view you should get to know her first and if you still like her, and she likes you, you will pick up hints and things in the relationship might have a better flow

dude get to know her better first then if u still like her go ahead and ask her out. (at the very least u should say at least 20 words to her before u ask her out) if u get to know her 1st, then itll be easier to ask her

Why not ask her out and *then* get to know her better. Then if it looks like things won't work out, then drop it.

It doesn't hurt to give it a shot. The worst thing that she can say is no.
