Does anyone know how many cup cakes I can make with a standard box of Betty Crocker cake mix (18.4 oz)?

I think you can get 24 big ones or 36-48 mini ones.

It depends on where you are elevation wise and how big the cupcakes are going to be. For standard size cupcakes it will tell you on the back of the box. Happy Baking!!
