noedink, you in your car have a lot greater chance of survival than I do with nothing around me but air. Besides, not everyone has the luxury of having a car these days. Not that you care, just saying.

It goes both ways, some stupid pedestrians walk out in front of cars. I know you're supposed to yield to pedestrians no matter what, but if you're alreading passing through they should be paying attention. Takes 2 to tango haha

I don't think this is a situation exclusive to pedestrians at crosswalks. I think that there are a ridiculously huge number of people who are totally unaware of their surroundings and the nuisance they create. You see this when they're driving (too slowly, in the left lane) or walking through the mall, getting into other's personal space, etc. It's a national disgrace.

I attempt my ultimate to not at all block the crosswalk using fact I cant stand that habit the two. i think of human beings think of that on account that they're enclosed in a vehicle, they're of greater value, and the "street" is merely for them. "share" the line isn't understood via maximum drivers. What I understand- is the regulation- the place I stay (Massachusetss) you could't hinder a crosswalk and you're able to desire to yield to pedistrians. I do it anyhow using fact its perfect, yet being a criminal offense is yet another perk to maintain dum-@ss drivers to do the appropriate component.

This is one of my pet peeves. Yesterday, I stopped for a little girl in a crosswalk, and even so, cars coming from the other direction didn't stop. I think people are just being selfish.

It's not the driver as much as the idiots who just walk out into traffic. I see it all the time. A group of people will cross, with traffic stopped for them. Then, just as they get to the other side, and traffic is beginning to move, the idiot will jump out to go across the other way, into already moving traffic. Can you believe they actually run to do this sometimes?

Its not just the pedestrians...most of the time, they are not paying attention to their driving!

Because of one factor that seems to be common with today's drivers, lack of courtesy!
