OK cats are predatory animals, to do this they need to be high so they can see everything that is happening around them. your cat is doing nothing wrong in his or her mind and if it is over 8 months old it is very unlike that it ever change but one thing you can do is to make a platform with a latter of some sort that is about the same height or a little taller than your car. you can look it up on the web as a cat house but sadly you will have to search as cat house will bring other results as well sorry about those maybe cat house plans would be better

If the cat jumps on the vehicle once you're staring at you could spray it with the backyard hose. Now i'm no longer asserting soak the cat, purely a spritz ought to be adequate - maximum cats hate water. it extremely is the same significant as spraying an indoor cat with spray bottle. Repeat as needed, yet after some circumstances it would get the assumption. do no longer attempt this in case you reside in a cold climate. The cat ought to run off and freeze. If the cat purely does it once you're no longer around attempt to be certain why that's attracted on your vehicle interior the 1st place. Is it purely leaping on it whilst the engine is warm? Is the cat employing the vehicle as a ladder to get to someplace greater? as quickly as you have clinically determined the rationalization you ought to be waiting to think of of the thank you to avert the cat from leaping on the vehicle. yet an selection selection is to rigidity much less approximately your new paint interest. it extremely is purely some paw prints, they rub off with little attempt.

I hate cats. We have three around our house. They KILL beautiful birds. I have found two just this past week. They also climb all over our clean cars. I will trap them and turn them into the humane society and let them deal with them. All above is true and I just wanted to share this to piss some of you cat lovers off. I AM A BIRD LOVER.

I would think a few paw prints on your car is a small price to pay for having the company of cats and living on a farm......however.
Cats don't like the smell of citrus (eg. oranges and lemons). I don't suggest you tie a bag of lemons to your windscreen wipers, but you can buy lemon smelling wax / polish which, if applied regularly, should keep your rogue moggies at bay.

The only thing you can do is buy a car cover. Otherwise, you'll continue to have cat tracks. Don't blame the cats ! They're just doing what comes naturally.

First, your cat sleeps on your car. It is warm. You won't convince a cold cat to sleep somewhere else. You wouldn't, the cat won't either.
There is only one way. Only one.
But a dog and chain it near you car.
Cat won't go near it.
Otherwise, you are going to have to keep your cat indoors... or give the cat away.

Do you have a car alarm? If so, activate it whenever you catch the cat on your car. Assuming, of course, that it isn't at some ungodly hour in the morning.

TRY SHOOTING THE CAT HAHAH .... NAH REALLY THERE'S NOT NOTHING YOU CAN do to keep the cat off the car other than bringing the cat inside and then... you will still have other people's cats getting on the car . The animal likes to be warm I believe that's all it is anyways.
