If your talkin about curling it. like a dumbbell curl than that is pretty good. You should thopugh be lifting a weight that you can lift for atleast 6 reps but no more than 8. if thats 10 pounds the nawesome if not then go up or down in weight.

It depends on how you are lifting it. Are you bending your knees and picking it up off the floor? Are you curling it with both arms? One arm?

Basically if you aren't able to do the movement at least 4 times in a row, then the weight is too much for you. On the other hand, if you can repeat the motion more than a dozen times in a row, then the weight is too light.

Your body is still growing, so remember to stretch your the muscles that you are working after your workout and again the next morning.
