I got a strange email from a friend of mine overseas. We were talking about the hadith:
Lammaa qaddaa allahu alkhlga kitaba fi kitaabihi ‘aly
nafsihi fahuwa mudduu’un ‘indahu inna rahmatiy tghlibu ghaddabiy
Qaala allaahu yasubu banuu aadama aldhdhahra wa'anaa aldhdhahru biyadii allaylu walnnahaaru

Woah, really really rough answer here, but the transliteration is awful.
"And God the all-powerful created the Book from all Books as his Message, and He is ["mudduu'un" is a characteristic of God for which I don't know the translation], and His Will overpowers all.
God has sent to Bani-Adam [the tribe of Adam = all humanity]...
I can't make out the rest.
I'm sorry, that's the best I could do. I agree with the first post in that you should ask for the original Arabic text. Tranliterations are iffy in best case scenarios; they're usually degraded to meaningless over the Internet without the presence of the original Arabic script.

Meaning is: When Allah created the world he would be more merciful than angry.
Allah said the men from Adam (humans) are cursing the days and nights, in turn they are cursing Allah.
Ok this is a rough breakdown, my husband said the way it's written doesn't make a lot of sense but he tried his best.
