I once downloaded free itunes and subsequently lost my sound and had to recover my computer to an earlier date despite troubleshooting and trying to diagnose my computer which infomed me i had no audio please install. I suggest you try support or troubleshoot for the functioning of your audio device and if you can afford to lose some recent data versus time spent and possible further problems the best thing would be to recover your computer at its earliest date when your soound card was working.

If there is a butten it might be, A:on the speaker,B:behind the actual computer,or C:there is none but u have to put the speaker cord in the green port behind the computer.

check the speakers are plugged in

double click on a little speaker icon near the time and turn the volume up

if none of these work research into sound drivers

no prob, just had that problem last week, i couldn't realize it, till i searched the computer. DOUBBLE click the volume icon at the bottom of the screen, and make sure none of those volume controls are on mute.

if that;s not the problem, email me. i will help u from there. i need more info.

u should try the little icon in your task bar at the bottom double clik it and it will show you your volume controls. it might have one that says mute all that is selected. try that..if not check if you have a button your keyboard that shuts off the volume on your computer.
