How do I do my hair like Cinderella's?

I'm a youth leader and we are having a tv-movie themed costume party for our youth group. I would like to go as Cinderella, but can't figure out her complicated do. My hair is down to my bum... no problems with the length. Any suggestions?

start by rolling up ur hair
then leave a loop and pin ur rolled up hair
its not as easy as it sounds though

But Cinderella did have her hair right down to her bum.
So what's the problem?

Some drawings show her hair done up in a bun but I think you'll find earlier drawings showed her with long hair, bit like Alice in Wonderland.

Heres something I could never understand about the story.
Fairy Godmum says "midnight or everything will change back".

Cinders does a runner from ball and glass slipper comes off and is left behind.

Why didn't that change back like everything else?

Huh?

You know what?
I don't believe it happened at all.
I reckon the story was all made up.

Here's what I would do to make it a little easier...

Wrap your very long hair up in a large, kind of loose bun on top of your head. You can do that by pulling your hair into a ponytail at the top of your head and securing it with a rubberband. Then wrap the hair around in a circle to make a loose bun. You can secure it with another rubber band, or some bobby pins, whichever works for your hair.

Then I would get a light blue ribbon (easily found at Joanne Fabrics or some other store) and wrap it around my head. Secure it with bobby pins and then use a lot of hairspray to keep it secure.

I think that will work out alright :)

Put your bun on the top of your head do a few curls and there you have it.
