Go under your state name and look for the Department of Human Resources. Under that title look for the Division of Mental Health and Developmental Services. There you should find contact numbers to call for the information.
In NV there are many types of residential facilties, private and state run. There are also one for those needing transition from incarceration. Except for people with developmental disabilities, those residential facilities for people with mental health problems
are not "forever."

Contact your State Mental Health Department. Most of the residential facilities are state run.
